My Cottage
I used Solidworks to design the cottage I built with my brother during the summer of 2023. I learned a lot during this project from clearing the trees, and pouring concrete piers to designing and building the trusses. As a mechanical engineer, I enjoyed learning about the challenges of civil engineering.
Custom ski design
I grew up as a ski racer in Ontario and have lived in coastal BC chasing the deep powder. So I designed a ski that is stable doing long radius turns on-piste, but has the versatility to be used in deep snow.
Parachute Ejection System Design
The theory behind designing the parachute ejection canister was complex, however, the design for the canister was elegantly simple, and easy to manufacture at low cost.
