About Me

I am a mechanical engineer who enjoys seeking new challenges and opportunities to learn, and develop my skills. I have a passion for solving complex problems, and in my spare time I design customized downhill skis. While in university, I was able to apply my knowledge by joining some of the competitive engineering teams, rocketry and hyperloop.

The 2019 Spaceport America Cup, Intercollegiate Rocket Engineering Competition (IREC), was the first time that the University of Windsor Rocketry Team competed in the 30,000 ft. category, as opposed to 10,000 ft. This change presented new challenges to be overcome by our team. As the recovery lead I redesigned the parachute ejection system. This was fundamental to the success of the rocket as the parachute ejection system previously used is not functional at higher altitudes. While my focus was on the rocket’s recovery system, I was also heavily involved with the design and manufacturing of the entire rocket.

Due to my successful experience with IREC, I was chosen as chief engineer of the 2020 hyperloop team. The University of Windsor’s Hyperloop Team was preparing for the fifth SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competition, but it was unfortunately cancelled. The Hyperloop team learned a great deal from the 2019 competition, and the overall design of our pod improved drastically. We were excited to show SpaceX our efficient design, with a double sided linear induction motor, and an innovative braking system. Although the 2020 competition was cancelled, we were able to continue our research and development, which is being continued by the 2021 team.

Thank you for taking the time to read my online portfolio. Since this website cannot begin to convey the level of enthusiasm and dedication I would bring to your company, I would be pleased to talk with you to discuss how I could contribute.
